ZAGREB, July 6 (Reuters) - Following are the main news stories, press reports and events to watch which may affect Croatia's financial markets on Monday. ZAGREB - Croatian Parliament is likely to vote on the new government which will be proposed by the prime minister-designate Jadranka Kosor. PRESS DIGEST ------------ KOSOR SAYS HER FIRST MOVE WILL BE BUDGET REVISION The likely future Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor first move at the head of the new government would be a revision of the 2009 budget, which will introduce radical savings for all budget beneficiaries, in particular ministries, public companies and government agencies. Vjesnik, page 4 SOME 94,000 CITIZENS LIVE BELOW THE POVERTY THRESHOLD According to the latest statistics of the Health and Social Welfare Ministry, as many as 93,874 citizens live on permanent social welfare. Only those with no income or whose income is below 500 kuna ($95.26) are entitled to the state help. Almost half of those most financially endangered citizens have a working capacity, but are unemployed. Novi list, page 7 CROATIA'S 'GAS BUSINESS' OF THE CENTURY STARTS Oil concern INA, state power provider HEP and gas provider Plinacro should this week accept the decision on the founding of an LNG company which will together with its foreign partners construct a 1 billion euro ($1.40 billion) worth terminal for liquefied natural gas on the northern Adriatic island of Krk. Ina's share in the company will be 56 percent, that of HEP will be 40 percent, while Plinacro will have a four-percent stake.
