Eddie Bauer Files for Bankruptcy
Eddie Bauer Holdings is expected to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Wednesday and announce a deal to be bought by CCMP Capital Advisors, according to The Wall Street Journal, which cited a person familiar with the situation.

Representatives from Eddie Bauer and CCMP, a private equity firm, were not immediately available to comment. Eddie Bauer shares were down 8 cents, or 34.8 percent, at 15 cents on Nasdaq.
