Word out of Wasilla is that literary agents are falling all over themselves wooing America’s most famous hockey mom. Seems there are those who believe even though Sarah Palin couldn’t save the Grand Ol’ Party, she might be able to save the publishing industry.
There are reports that say she’s being offered 7 MILLION U.S. DOLLARS to write her book!
What the puck is that all about?
Well, in all fairness, her alter ego Tina Fey just inked a publishing deal and that was reported to be worth $6 million so I guess paying Palin 7 million makes sense—kindof, sortof, maybe, we’ll see.
But (and I’m sure you’ll agree with me here) I do pity the editor who will have to—uhhh how can I put this gracefully, harness/decipher/decode/make sense of the governor’s unique gift for putting words together.
And you know how I said, “Is this a great country or what?” you gotta love how so many people are able to profit and be the prophet of the American Dream.
Joe the Plumber’s “American Dream” of one day owning his own plumbing company has taken a bit of a detour. It doesn’t matter that JTP hadn’t renewed his plumber’s license or was a tad late in paying some of his taxes. Seems JTP has a new calling and may soon be known as Joe the Published.
Joe – who’s real name is Sam Joe Wurzelbacher is set to write a book that will be out next month called, “Joe the Plumber: Fighting for the American Dream.” The book’s publisher, PearlGate Publishing has only one other book under its belt written by owner/publisher/author Thomas Tabback who will co-author JTP’s tome.
Send me your suggested titles for Palin's book
