DKNY Spring 2009Protestors from PETA rushed the runway of the DKNY show during New York Fashion Week.Two activists from the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals interrupted the end of the show, waving signs reading "Donna: Dump Fur." The protest continued outside the venue with demonstrators dressed as animals covered in blood.

Rubin Singer Spring 2009Hailing from a dynasty of Russian fashion designers, Rubin Singer's grandfather was one of the most celebrated couturiers of the Soviet Union and dressed everyone from the Soviet elite to Stalin. Singer’s own father, Alik, created costumes for The Bolshoi Ballet & The Stanislavsky Theater.

Charlotte Ronson Spring 2009In 2005, Ronson joined forces with Japanese apparel giant, Sanei International, which owns over 1,000 contemporary apparel stores in Japan and throughout Asia. Sanei recognized the potential of the brand and included her along with its stable of major licenses such as Jill Stuart, Diane von Furstenberg, Kate Spade, and Cacharel. Together with Ronson, Sanei rolled out 14 Charlotte Ronson boutiques in Japan and expanded in the US and around the globe.
