How to Find Your FICO Score & Credit Report

On Monday's On the Money, a caller asked Carmen where she could find her credit score for free or with a one-time fee. Finding your credit score for free is tricky, despite all the companies and web sites out there that purport to do it. There’s currently legislation making its way through Washington that will make it mandatory for FICO scores to be given for free, but for now, you need to pay up. The only way to get your accurate FICO score is through myFICO.com. You can get a free copy of your credit report, which determines your credit score, once a year through AnnualCreditReport.com
