  • The Rich History of Video Games 

      What video games needed to become as an industry was an inventor and computer geek who was also part visionary and hustler.  In a warehouse in Silicon Valley, he was already at work. Meet Nolan Bushnell, the founder of Atari.

  • The Golden Age 

      Space Invaders, Pac Man and Donkey Kong usher in the Golden Age of Video Games. By 1981, Americans had dropped 20 billion quarters into arcade machines. But no golden age lasts forever.  Within two years, the entire video game industry would crash. There were no survivors.  Or so it seemed.

      When a proposed partnership between Nintendo and Sony falls apart, Sony challenges Nintendo with PlayStation.
